POSTMAN PLUS was founded in 1987, by Christopher "Kit" Bateman, Pres/CEO, in Baltimore, MD. The POSTMAN PLUS NETWORK was formed to assist owners of independent retail UPS/Postal shipping, packaging, consumer and business service centers, overcome obstacles such as name recognition, group purchasing, advertising, research and development by trading under one name--"POSTMAN PLUS". The concept is unique in that an entrepreneur can own an independent business, but utilize the resources of the Network for ongoing assistance and support. It is designed to provide many of the benefits of a franchise, but without the traditional fees and controls. Postman Plus is NOT a FRANCHISE, but is a LICENSOR of an independent business opportunity. There are no franchise or royalty fees, which can grow larger each year from YOUR hard work. POSTMAN PLUS has a nominal annual License Fee for the use of the name and logo. The POSTMAN PLUS Corporate Headquarters features a model store, which serves as a training facility for new POSTMAN PLUS ENTREPRENEURS and as a testing center for new services and ideas.
